with July and Hapi
Hey! We're July and Hapi, and our fitness adventure started as adults.
We know how tough it can be to learn new movements from scratch.
Hapi tried out parkour before getting hooked on acroyoga. He passed his
passion on to July and now we've got over seven years of practice under our
belts, plus a few years of teaching. We love mixing things up with handstands
and flexibility training too. We're always on the lookout for new ways to
improve and challenge ourselves.
What keeps us passionate about acroyoga? It's all about the
connections we make. We love the physical touch and the silent
communication that happens when practicing acroyoga. You don’t need to
be super muscular – it's all about the technique, and anyone can learn
it! The beauty of acroyoga is that it's for everyone, no matter your
age. You can do it with your kids, your grandparents – it’s a fun and
inclusive way to bond.
We started out looking up to amazing acrobats and circus performers –
and honestly, we still do. Their talent and openness continue to
inspire us. There's no rush like mastering a trick you once saw
performed in front of thousands of people. Acroyoga has also brought us
closer together as a couple. It was part of our first date and remains
our favorite hobby and sport after all these years. It enriched our lives in
so many unexpected ways we could have never imagined.

Knowing Hapi and July as a friend, I always knew there’s this hobby called Acroyoga. But as soon as Hapi made me try Acroyoga, I realized it’s not just a hobby - it’s a passion - and I fell in love with it as well.
Both, Hapi and July taught me a lot, not just fancy tricks, but the way of communicating with each other and focusing onto key aspects, to be able to do these tricks myself.
If there ever came a moment I was doubting my skill, they were making me belief that I’m capable of doing it, making me trust myself as well as trusting the person I'm playing with.

The Acro Yoga course with Hapi was my first Acro experience. For me, it was the ideal combination of flexibility and sport with other people. Even in the first session, I was able to do simple but cool moves with my partner.
After I was so enthusiastic, I also met up with Hapi outside the course and did a few more difficult things, because he got even more out of me as a flyer.
